We're looking for an innovative Erlang developer. Our team counts over 120 people that works across Budapest, Stockholm, Krakow, London, and across the Americas, to fix issues of scale, reliability & performance. We are a true cultural mix of people working together to spread the reach of Erlang and Elixir programming languages across the globe.
Job Description:
We love succeeding with our customers - including Klarna, Ericsson, Cisco and WhatsApp - through our skilled and experienced consultants (one of the inventors of Erlang/Elixir/OTP works in our team!), innovative services & products, engaging training, swift support and inspiring conferences - thereby evolving the Erlang/Elixir/OTP open-source eco-system for:
- 2x FASTER development of new services
- 10x BETTER services: down-time less than 5 minutes per year
- 10x SAFER services: hard to hack and crash through denial-of-service attacks
- 10x MORE users (billions), transactions per second (millions) within milliseconds
- 10x LESS costs and energy consumption thanks to fewer servers needed
And, curious computer science engineers/developers learn Erlang or Elixir in 2-3 weeks.
Who are you?
An Erlang developer that enjoys working remotely and is living in Hungary or in one of the neighbouring countries. Your communication skills are on point. You're a team player keen on fostering community and sharing knowledge. You don't shy away from challenging projects because you know that's how you hone your skills.
Elixir, Phoenix/LiveView or RabbitMQ knowledge is a plus.
Experience in FinTech is another plus!
Key Responsibilities:
We're looking to recruit competent, curious collaborators with at least 3-5 years of Elixir/Erlang/OTP/BEAM professional experience. And, since many of our customers in the Nordics would like our expert Elixir/Erlang consultants to be embedded with their teams on-site or at least be able to regularly meet face-to-face after Covid, we would like to see people who live in one of the Nordic countries.
We offer:
- Work on a complex and interesting IT project
- Competitive salary
- Flexible working hours
- Opportunity for professional growth and career development
- Pleasant atmosphere and a friendly team
