QA Test Engineer

Xtra Information Management (XIM) is an international consulting and software development company specializing in IT outsourcing solutions. Our company is seeking a QA Test Engineer for our Moscow facilities.

Responsibilities

Provide with overall test execution process for various (New and Maintenance) Mobile Browser Releases on Windows and Unix phone-simulators. Must be able to work independently and present summary of testing to Project Management. Must be able to understand, read and write technical English.

• Manage and monitor overall Test Execution Process on Win and Unix Cell Phone simulators.
• Create and run Build Acceptance and Regression Tests.
• Communicate all critical issues to Development teams.
• Maintain Testing Environment and Troubleshoot Server Configuration Issues.
• Prepare QA Status Summary Reports for each assignment and provide with Daily Resource Allocation Reports.
• Create and upload Smoke, Regression, and IOT Testing Results on company's intranet.

Position Requirements :

• Unix (basic sysadmin level) and Windows knowledge is required
• Software QA knowledge and QA Experience is a strong plus
• Client/Server and HTTP knowledge is required
• WAP & Wireless telephony knowledge is beneficial (e.g. CDMA/1xRTT, GSM/GPRS)
• Worked with Bug Tracking systems to input, update, track and query on bugs
• Good written and oral English communication skills is a required
• BS-Computer Science or Information Systems
